Introduction to Judaism
An eighteen-week exploration for individuals and couples interested in deepening their understanding of what'Living Judaism" might mean for them. Designed for those interested in conversion as well as Jews who want to learn more. This class is offered in conjunction with the Union of Reform Judaism. This class is taught by Rabbi Aaron, Rabbi Geller and Rabinic Intern Joshua Nobel (Wednesdays, 7:00-9:00 p.m., beginning October 16). New Emanuel Minyan Mini-Class: Psalms
The New Emanuel Minyan and the Lifelong Learning Council are offering a mini-class on the biblical Book of Psalms. Cantor Kliger will facilitate two sessions that will lead us through the musical psalms that enrich our Shabbat and festival liturgy. Other teachers will guide us through Psalms of healing, blessing and everyday living. Texts are studied in English, so there is no knowledge of Hebrew required.

This class is for those who were part of the Adult B'nai Mitzvah class last year. If you were not a part of the group last year but can decode Hebrew, you are welcome to join with the instructor's permission.
Classical Hebrew
This class will enable students to read and understand Hebrew of the siddur and the Bible. For those who know the aleph bet as well as those who want to learn it. Perfect follow-up to B'nai Mitzvah
