Introduction to Judaism

An eighteen-week exploration for individuals and couples interested in deepening their understanding of what'Living Judaism" might mean for them. Designed for those interested in conversion as well as Jews who want to learn more. This class is offered in conjunction with the Union of Reform Judaism. This class is taught by Rabbi Aaron, Rabbi Geller and Rabinic Intern Joshua Nobel (Wednesdays, 7:00-9:00 p.m., beginning October 16). Classical Hebrew

This class will enable students to read and understand Hebrew of the siddur and the Bible. For those who know the aleph bet as well as those who want to learn it. Perfect follow-up to B'nai Mitzvah

Yoga with Michelle Aaron

Michelle Aaron is a certified Hatha Yoga instructor trained at Sacred Movement in Venice. Participants should not eat directly before class, wear comfortable clothing and bring a towel and a mat.

Jewish Holiday Cooking

Learn to make the dishes traditionally featured on the Jewish holiday table. A series of five sessions with guest chefs that will include cooking for Sukkot, Shabbat, Hanukah, Passover, Challah and other sweet things.
